Runs in this browser

A shared Wi-Fi code reveals the network details, including any password. Share it only with people you trust.

Error correction

Medium is a reliable default. Higher recovery makes a denser code.

Colors

Use a dark foreground on a light background. The checker blocks low-contrast downloads.

Fewer typed passwords, one code you can test

Match the network settings before you print.

A Wi-Fi QR code stores the connection details inside the pattern. Choose the same security mode as the router and test the final code on a real device.

Use the exact network name

The SSID is case-sensitive. Include spaces and punctuation exactly as they appear in the router or device settings.

Match WPA, WPA3, WEP, or no password

Select WPA / WPA2 for most networks, WPA3 for a WPA3 network, WEP only for legacy networks, or No password for an open network.

Mark a hidden network when needed

The hidden-network option is encoded with the connection details, but device behavior can vary, so test before sharing.

Keep the printed pattern readable

Use strong contrast and enough quiet margin. The local scan checker must pass before PNG or SVG downloads become available.

Share the code like a password

The downloaded or printed QR code contains the network details, including any password. Anyone with the code can read those details or use them to connect. Prefer a guest network and replace the code when its credentials change. The application does not upload the details, and reloading clears the current form.
